Durkheim said, “Religion is society worshiping itself.” Which if true means Satanism is not the religion of self-worship. That’s every religion.
Okay. Why Satan?
When they ask “Why Satan?” what they mean is, “If none of my damaging assumptions about Satanism were true, then why are you a Satanist?” Absurd.
